This blog follows the Johnson descendants during Lent 2009. We will vent our frustrations or share any Lenten-specific insights here. Every family member has decided to give up something AND add a positive thing to their life. Most of us (all of us?) have decided to give up a food or food group. We hope the hunger-related grumpiness won't cause too many family riffs. :) At the end of the Lenten season, we'll see if everyone survived how everyone fared.
Not even a day in and this is easily the most difficult thing I've done in my entire life. Next time I see someone with a nicotine patch I'm going to laugh silently to myself...they just don't know how easy they have it....
